The company’s roots trace back to Lee Nemeth, who founded Kolga after arriving in the United States at just 18 years old, having left Communist Hungary in search of freedom and opportunity. With hard work and a passion for craftsmanship, Lee built a company that has stood the test of time.
Today, Kolga continues to thrive as a family-run business led by Dan Nemeth and Chris Mauriz, who bring a shared commitment to engineering excellence and innovation.
Dan holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics, providing both technical depth and strategic insight. Chris, who has been part of Kolga for over a decade, also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and brings deep hands-on expertise and leadership in design and production.
